Virus Free Air and partners run long term pilot in special schools

Virus Free Air and partners have recently developed an innovative small scale ventilation system. The system includes a smart ventilation system (ventilates upon necessity), sensors for continuous monitoring of air quality and the high efficiency filters, the ASPRA.

 

The complete system is being installed for long period testing in a special school in Ermelo. First feedbacks from users and students are very positive. The system has proven to be highly effective and sustainable.

VFA a specialized speaker at the National Indoor Air Day

On February the 5th, 2011, VFA director, Mrs. Eliane Khoury, presented the company's point of view on indoor air quality during the National Indoor Environment Day. The event was organized by the Group4Welless in which Mrs. Khoury is involved as a specialist on indoor air quality and filtration techniques.

 

The event was visited by a large number of professionals of diverse disciplines, such as architecture, engineering, installation techniques and advisors.

VFA in the Innovation Top 100

On Thursday, May 26, the SME Innovation Top 100 announced the ranking list of 100 specific innovations in SMEs. The ranking list is an initiative of innovation centre Syntens, Netherlands Patent Office, Mercedes-Benz and NRC Trade magazine. Virus Free Air was respectively awarded a spot on the list as an approved Dutch innovations.

The Innovation Top 100 initiative offers a unique platform for innovative firms from different sectors. The jury judged the nominations based on originality, impact, degree of protection, availability and sales potential. Virus Free Air was rewarded the 99th spot thanks to its innovative approach and technology and huge social and health impact.2011-2
