Unlike conventional air purification/filtration, we do not use any textile filters. That is by definition a major uniqueness, since conventional filters may act as an optimal habitat for microbial growth on their surfaces (due to accumulation of nutritious substances and humidity). How does it work?

The VFA Technology makes use of several natural phenomena, such as, natural charge of particles, molecular structure of microbial agents, and physics and chemistry of the electrostatic discharge.

Within the VFA Technology airborne particles are separated from the airflow due to a well-controlled ionization process, in which particles are charged inside the system and hence collected in special sections within the system.  The ionization process within the VFA technology is responsible for the air purification as well as for creating the airflow.

The VFA technologies are based on electrostatic and ionization phenomena. However, unlike the conventional air ionizers, the VFA products efficiently remove the pollutants from the indoor air and collect them on specially designed surfaces inside the products.
